With this type of solution, the middle "mixed" switch position will be slightly darker than your typical Tele. So what's the catch? Well, there's always a trade-off. (I'm happy to pre-install the resistor if you want - just let me know where your single coil will be.) The resistor can be installed to accommodate the single-coil pickup being located in either the bridge or neck position. I'll include this resistor in the package. This forces the single-coil pickup to "see" a 250k Ohm pot.
